Holiday mentality

May 14, 2014 by Kane Simms

On holiday, lads will have their tops off and wear flip flops. Girls will wear bikinis and clothes that they wouldn’t dream of wearing at home.

It’s because on holiday no one knows who you are. No one is judging you.

But really, what’s the difference? You never hear the thoughts or criticisms of those judging you anyway. For all you know, no one is judging you at all, ever. It’s just a feeling. Or, everyone is judging you all the time, every second. What difference does it make?

In reality there’s no different between wearing that item on holiday than wearing it at home.

We should all adopt that holiday mentality more often and not be concerned about the theoretical and invisible mental gymnastics of strangers.
