Finding the strength

October 29, 2013 by Kane Simms

My girlfriend’s friend has planned her own funeral. She’s even laid in her coffin.

Sometimes, things need to be done and having the strength to do them isn’t an issue because you just don’t have time to think, you need to act and get on with it before it’s too late. Renewing your passport. Paying a fine.

Other times, things can wait. Difficult situations, hard decisions, they can all wait. We’re very good at saving for tomorrow what we know we should do today.

“Hmm, I’ve found a lump. It’s probably nothing”

If you’re finding it hard to have the strength to tell your boss something or plucking up the courage to ask for a pay rise, of putting off anything that you don’t want to do, just think about Rebecca trying her coffin for size and stop being such a baby.
